Lights, Cameras, Action! Tilda takes the stage....

Thought it was time to share another creation! I did this one for Angie Hunt's challenge (my first one, a little nerverous!) which calls for shades of brown and red and preferably something for the Holidays. I'm thinking maybe "The Nutcracker"???? or is that too much of a stretch? In any case, I had a great time
with this little prima donna! She was so cute that I thought she deserved a "real" stage with curtains, and floodlights. She also got a jewel studded tiara and more jewels on her dress and shoes; and of course she had to have flowers for such a brilliant performance. Can't you just imagine her going for another curtain call???? I used everything from my stash from ribbons, papers, gems, and flowers, the only thing new was Tilda (for me...) I would love it if you let me know what you think...TIA Bernet

Lady Bug Tilda for a very special Lady

Hello again Ladies! Want to start off by thanking all you wonderful ladies who left a comment last week about my first attempts at copics, easel cards and posting. You were all very kind and I appreciated the encouragement! Now for round two!!!
This little Tilda was so much fun to do! As she is for someone very special to me, I had to bling her up a bit. Rhinestones on the corners and on DP (which is from Daisy Bucket)and pearls on the arches (MS)and on the label (spellbinders). Tilda is colored with copics and popped up for deminsion. I added flowers from the UK and a double organza bow. Had a silver ladybug bead I wanted to incorporate, so decided to make a stickpin and put it on that, although you can't tell very well from the picture...it really is adorable in person. Finished it all off with some homemade glimmer mist (again thank you for the great tutorials!) Think she'll like it?
